J.SCOTT BORDERS, Senior Partner & Founder

Scott has been actively involved in industrial coatings his entire life, beginning as an employee in a family-owned business, Tank Liners, Inc. (TLI). He has started several industrial coatings, inspection and repair companies. Scott has worked for several companies as a senior field supervisor for above ground storage (AST) and underground storage tank (UST) lining, inspection and repair. Clients included all major oil companies, marine service providers, off-shore oil operations, pulp and paper mills, potable water storage, and chemical storage companies.

TOM COLEMAN, PARTNER & General Manager

Tom has over 35 years of management and marketing experience in the environmental and coatings industries. As General Manager for Northwest Tank Lining and Inspection, Inc., he oversaw daily business operations including contract-execution; ensuring regulatory compliance by contractors in regard to local, state, and federal environmental laws; supervised the existing sales force to achieve goals of the marketing program; and enforced collection policies and procedures. In addition, Tom has collaborated with Scott Borders for over 20 years. He graduated from California State University – Northridge with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Health Sciences. 

MORRIS KiNDeL, SENIOR TANK FOREMAN

Morris has over 35 years of contracting experience as a foreman on above ground and underground storage tank inspection, lining, and repair projects. Prior to joining B.A.T & Coating, he had worked for Scott Borders at Northwest Tank Lining and Inspection, Inc. He maintains an impeccable safety record and manages all aspects of tank projects.
